Nicolette Larson (born July 17, 1952 in Helena, Montana) was a singer and musician who was best known for her work with singer-songwriter Neil Young and her 1978 number one hit single, “Lotta Love,” which was written by Young. Nicolette died on December 16, 1997 and her death was because of cerebral edema which was due to complications from liver failure. She died young at age 45.
