Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (born Faisalaband, Pakistan) was a singer-songwriter and music producer who was best known for being a singer of qawwali, which is a form of Sufi devotional music and was considered to be the greatest qawwali singer of his generation. Nusrat died on August 16, 1997 and his death was reportedly because of cardiac arrest. He died young at age 48.
