Ozzie George Nelson (born March 20, 1906 in Jersey City, New Jersey) was a film actor, film director, screenwriter, musician, and composer who was best known for starring in “Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” a radio and TV series with his wife Harriet and two sons Ricky Nelson and David Nelson. Ozzie died on June 3, 1975 and his death was because of liver cancer. He died at age 69.
