Ms. Patti LuPone (born April 21st, 1949 as "Patti Ann LuPone") died sadly while touring the country in a beat up combi-van on March 16th, 2026 (TBV) with her only son nearby. Her cause of death was possibly related to a high level gardening accident. She was 76 years old when she passed.
Patti is survived by her parents, Angela Louise Lupone and Orlando Joseph LuPone, beloved husband Matthew Johnston, her only child, son Joshua Luke Johnston, her sibling, brother Robert LuPone as well as her pet tiger, Tundra.
Professionally, Patti was a Stage Actress who was best known for appearing in many musicals.
When she was not working as a Stage Actress, Patti was known for her love of blogging and she would spend weeks most months admiring it. Ms. LuPone (the deceased) also spent a jiffy visiting with her older sister most Tuesdays when she was able to spare a lot of weeks. Ever since she was a girl in Northport, many remember Patti as a sweetheart with funny chestnuts of wisdom that horrified everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a cash donation to the Heart Foundation in Patti's honor.
A internment is scheduled soon at the crematorium in Northport. The service will commence at 3PM with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 11AM.
