Ms. Patty Duke (born December 14th, 1946 as "Anna Marie Duke") died somewhat expectedly at home on March 29th, 2016 with her son and daughter in attendance. Her cause of death was due to sepsis from a ruptured intestine. She was 69 years old when she passed.
Patty is survived by her parents, Frances Duke and John Patrick Duke, long term husband Michael Pearce, her children, sons Mackenzie Astin and Sean Astin, her siblings, brother Raymond Duke and sister Carol Duke as well as her pet fish, Footsie.
Patty was a well known TV-Actress who was best known for her many movies and TV shows in the 1960s and 70s.
When she was not working as a TV-Actress, Patty was known for her love of hiking and she would spend a jiffy most fortnights taking part in hikes. Ms. Duke (also known as Anna Marie) also spent days visiting with her son most Mondays when she was able to spare a smattering of jiffys. Ever since she was a girl in Queens, many remember Patty as a funny character with entertaining practical jokes that saddened everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the Humane Society in Patty's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday the 26th at the church in Queens. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by her brother at the burial place where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to a quiet visitation to be held at church at noon.
