Paul Xavier Gleason (born May 4, 1939 in Jersey City, New Jersey) was a film actor and TV actor who was best known for his role as Richard Vernon in the 1985 drama film, “The Breakfast Club” and for his role as David Thornton in the soap opera, “All My Children.” Paul died on May 27, 2006 and his death was because of pleura mesothelioma. He died quite young at age 67.
