Mary Margaret “Peggy” Cass (born May 21, 1924 in Boston, Massachusetts) was a film actress, TV actress, and comedian who was best known for her role as Agnes Cooch in the 1958 comedy/romance film, “Auntie Mame.” Peggy died on March 8, 1999 and her death was because of heart failure. She died at age 74.
