Pervis Jackson (born May 17, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana) was a singer who was best known for being bass singer in the R&B music group “The Spinners”. He was was one of the group's original members. Pervis died on August 18, 2008 and his death was because of brain and liver cancer. He died at age 70.
