Peter Wilton Cushing (born May 26, 1913 in Kenley, United Kingdom) was a film actor, TV actor, and stage actor who was best known for appearing in more than 100 films and was known for his role as Grand Moff Tarkin in the Star Wars trilogy. Peter died on August 11, 1994 and his death was because of prostate cancer. He died at age 81.
