Peter Lorre (born June 26, 1904 in Ružomberok, Slovakia) was a film actor was best known for his role as Hans Beckert in the 1931 thriller film, “M” and for having a sinister sounding voice. Peter died on March 23, 1964 and his death was because of a stroke. He died at just 64 years of age.
