"The Princess Anne life and death story is one that many people still remember to this day. Anne was born in 1702, and at the age of six she was marriageable to the Prince of Wales. She was also the daughters of the great king of England, George II. But it was not to be, and Anne was forced to choose between her happiness and her allegiance to her father. In a great effort to save her life, Anne undertook a daring flight to France, where she was able to meet and fall in love with the dashing French general, Bonaparte. The marriage between Anne and Bonaparte was not what Anne had hoped for, but it did provide her with some much-needed family stability. Anne lost her husband in 1814, but continued to have many children with him. When she died in 1847, she was only forty-four years old. The Princess Anne life and death story has still left a lasting impression on many people, and her memory continues to be invoked by those who feel that they have been left behind in the modern world.
