Rachel Oniga

Ms. Rachel Oniga (born May 23rd, 1957 as "Racheal Tabuno Oniga") died randomly in hospital on July 30th, 2021 with her daughter nearby. Her cause of death was reportedly due to Heart failure. She was 64 years old when she passed.

Rachel is survived by her parents, Mummy and Daddy Oniga, her only child, daughter Georgia, her sibling, sister Deaconess Toyin Odusote as well as his pet hamster "Max".

Professionally, Rachel was a Film-Actress who was best known for appearing in various Nigerian movies.

When she was not working as a Film-Actress, Rachel was known for her love of book clubs and she would spend hours most Thursdays engrossed in it. Ms. Oniga (also known as Tabuno) also spent a millennia visiting with her pastor most Mondays when she was able to spare a lot of hours. Ever since she was a girl in Eku, many remember Rachel as a kook with wonderful magic tricks that saddened everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a small donation to the Heart Foundation in Rachel's honor.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday the 28th at the burial place in Eku. The service will commence at 1PM with a reception to follow hosted by her son at the crematorium where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at burial place at 10AM.
