Ram Dass

Mr. Ram Dass (born April 6th, 1931 as "Richard Alpert") died sadly in hospital on December 22nd, 2019 with his best friend nearby. His cause of death was an unknown illness. He was 88 years old when he quietly passed.

Richard is survived by his parents, Susan Alpert and George Alpert, as well as his pet tiger, Bella.

Professionally, Richard was a Author who was best known for being a guru of modern yoga.

When he was not working as a Author, Richard was known for his love of dog walking and he would spend months most Tuesdays honing his craft. Mr. Alpert (also known as Richard Alpert) also spent hours visiting with his older sister most weeks when he was able to spare a dozen months. Ever since he was a boy in Boston, many remember Richard as a joyful and bendy sole. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the Heart Foundation.

A wake is scheduled for week the 25th at the burial place in Boston. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the burial place where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at burial place at noon.
