Rex David Thomas (born July 2, 1932 in Atlantic City, New Jersey) was a business person who was best known for being the founder of the fast-food restaurant chain "Wendy’s". Dave died on January 8, 2002 and his death was because of a carcinoid neuroendocrine tumor which later metastasized his liver. He died at age 69.
