Richard Avedon (born May 15, 1923 in New York City, New York) was a photographer who was best known for working for Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Elle magazines that specializes in capturing movement in pictures of fashion, theater and dance. Richard died on October 1, 2004 and his death was because of complications from a cerebral hemorrhage. He died at age 81.
