Richard Carpenter (born October 15th, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for being half of the music duo "the Carpenters" alongside his younger sister Karen. Richard died on October 23rd, 2025 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of a long illness. He was 79 years old.
