Richard Donald Crenna (born November 30, 1926 in Los Angeles, California) was a film actor, TV actor, and radio personality who was best known for his role as Colonel Samuel R. "Sam" Trautman in the first 3 Rambo films. Richard died on January 17, 2003 and his death was because of pancreatic cancer. He died at age 76.
