Richard Dawson (born November 20th, 1932 in Gosport, England) was a TV Actor who was often noted for his role as a British non-commissioned officer, Corporal Peter Newkirk, situation the 1960's comedy Hogan's Heroes, and as the original host of the Family Feud game show from 1976 until 1985. Richard died on June 3, 2012 and his death was because of complications of esophageal cancer. He was 79 years old.
