Mr. Richard Dean Anderson (born January 23rd, 1950) died sadly in the emergency room at his local charity hospital on April 23rd, 2024 (TBV) with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was rumored to be possibly cancer. He was 74 years old when he passed on.
Richard is survived by his parents, Jocelyn Rhae Carter and Stuart Jay Anderson, cranky partner Apryl A. Prose, his children, son Wylie Quinn Anderson and daughter Wylie Quinn Anderson, his three brothers as well as his alpaca, Harry.
Professionally, Richard was a TV Actor who was best known for his lead role in the American TV series "MacGyver".
When he was not being an TV Actor, Richard was known for his love of writing limericks and he would spend a most Wednesdays polishing his most recent creation. Mr. Anderson (also known as Rick) also visited with his neighbor Mary Davis most Saturdays when he was able to enjoy her gossip. Ever since he was a boy in Minneapolis, many remember Richard as a jerk with distressing chestnuts of wisdom that saddened everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a sizable donation to the Down Syndrome Society in Richard's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for this morning at the funeral home in his birth city, Minneapolis. The service will commence at 11AM with a reception to follow hosted by his brother at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at funeral home.
