Richard Griffiths (born July 31st, 1947 in Thornaby-on-Tees, England) was a Film Actor who was best known for many TV and film projects with his role as Vernon Dursley in the popular "Harry Potter" film series being one of the more notable. Richard died on March 28th, 2013 and his death was said to be because of complications following heart surgery. He passed away at just 65 years old.
