Richard Mulligan (born November 13, 1932 in The Bronx, New York) was a TV actor and film actor who was best known for his role as Burt Campbell in the 1977-1981 sitcom, “Soap” and for his role as Dr. Harry Weston in the 1988-1995 sitcom, “Empty Nest.” Richard died on September 26, 2000 and his death was possibly because of colorectal cancer. He died quite soon at age 67.
