Richard William Wright (born July 28, 1943 in Hatch End, United Kingdom) was a musician, composer, singer-songwriter who was best known for being one of the co-founders of the English rock band, “Pink Floyd,” who appeared on almost every Pink Floyd album and performing on all their tours. Richard died on September 15, 2008 and his death was because of lung cancer. He died at age 65.
