Rita Hayworth (born October 17, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York) was a film actress, dancer, and film producer who was best known for being known as, “The Love Goddess” and for her title role in the 1946 drama film, “Gilda”. She became a popular pin-up girl during World War II. Rita died on May 14, 1987 and her death was because of Alzheimer’s disease. She died too soon at just 68 years old.
