Robert Edwin Hall (born January 14, 1961 in Christchurch, New Zealand) was a sportsperson who was best known for being a mountaineer and was the head guide of the 1996 Mount Everest expedition. Rob died on May 11, 1996 and his death was reportedly because of hypothermia while climbing Mount Everest. He died very young at age 35.
