Robert Towne (born November 23rd, 1934 in Los Angeles, California) was an Screenwriter who was best known for writing various popular movies including his Academy Award-winning original screenplay for the movie "Chinatown". Robert died on March 28th, 2024 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of a heart condition. He was 89 years old.
