Roderick Andrew Anthony Jude McDowall (born September 17, 1928 in London, United Kingdom) was a film actor, film director, and photographer who was best known for his role as Cornelius and Caesar in the Planet of the Apes film series. Roddy died on October 3, 1998 and his death because of lung cancer. He died at age 70.
