Ron Carey (born December 11, 1935 in Newark, New Jersey) was a film actor and TV actor who was best known for his role as NYPD Police Officer Carl Levitt on the 1975-1982 American TV series, “Barney Miller.” Ron died on January 16, 2007 and his death was because of a stroke. He died at age 71.
