Ronald Joseph DeFeo Jr. (born September 26, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York) was a criminal who was known for being a mass murderer in Amityville, Long Island, New York. He as famously convicted for the 1974 killings of his father, mother, two brothers, and two sisters. The events were the inspiration for the book and film versions of “The Amityville Horror.” Ronald died on March 12, 2021 and his death was because of an unknown reason. He died in prison at age 69.
