Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald Kennedy (born July 22, 1890 in North End, Boston, Massachusetts) was a philanthropist and socialite who was best known for being the matriarch of the Kennedy family and for being part of the Irish American community in Boston. Rose died on January 22, 1890 and her death was because of pneumonia. She died at the impressive age of104.
