Ruth Carol Hussey (born October 30, 1911 in Providence, Rhode Island) was a film actress who was best known for her role as photographer Elizabeth Imbrie in the 1940 comedy film, “The Philadelphia Story.” Ruth died on April 19, 2005 and her death was because of complications from an appendectomy. She died at age 93.
