Samuel Shepard (born November 5th, 1943 in Fort Sheridan, Illinois) was a Playwright who was best known for writing the play "Buried Child". Sam died on July 27th, 2017 and his death was possibly because of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He was 73 years old.
