Samuel Burl Kinison (born December 8, 1953 in Yakima, Washington) was a comedian and film actor who was best known for his stand-up routine performances that were characterized by intense sudden tirades and his distinctive scream. Sam died on April 10, 1992 and his death was reportedly because of an automobile crash where he was struck by pickup truck driven by 17 year old, Troy Pierson, who was drunk while driving. He died young at age 38.
