Sarah Louise “Sadie” Delany (born September 19, 1889 in Lynch Station, Virginia) was an author and academic who was best known for being the subject of the New York Times bestselling oral history biography, “Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years.” Sarah died on January 25, 1999 and her death was possibly because of old age. She died at the old age of 109 years.
