She has won on Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, two British Academy Film Awards, and six Golden Globe Awards. Shirley died on March 19th, 2026 (TBV) and her death was possibly because of her old age. She was 91.

Wendell Stewart: If she is still alive, why are there no current pictures of her in the last two years? The last actual video showed her shopping in Malibu dressed incognito with big hat and dark glasses walking on a cane and very lethargic. Is she now under 24/7 nursing care?
