Skye McCole Bartusiak (born September 28, 1992 in Houston, Texas) was a film actress and model who was best known for her role as Susan Martin in the 2000 war-action film, “The Patriot.” Skye died on July 19, 2014 and her death was reportedly because of an accidental drug overdose on hydrocodone, difluoroethane, and carisoprodol. She died at the tender age of 21.
