Steven Scott Harwell (born January 9, 1967 in Santa Clara, California) was a singer and musician who was best known for being the lead singer of the 1990’s rock band, “Smash Mouth” from 1994 till 2021. Steve died on September 4, 2023 and his death was reportedly because of liver failure which was caused by his alcoholism. He died too soon at age 56.
