Quotable Quotes:

"My favorite thing about River [her character on Firefly (2002)] is that she gets to be barefoot so much of the time. I don't like shoes very much. The more things I mention the more things she ends up doing, I remember in the first episode I was thinking, "I really think River needs a gun", and then by episode 10 she got one. I'm working my way up to captain." (IMDB)

"Summer had a life marked by devotion to her craft and endless talent, but her sickness and eventual passing left a void in the hearts of her fans and loved ones. (V)"

"Summer Glau’s acting career began with an unusually fitting role: after years of classical ballet training, she made her screen debut as a ballerina in Angel’s 2002 episode Waiting in the Wings. (V)"
