Teng Li-Chuna aka Teresa Teng (born January 29, 1953 in Baozhong, Taiwan) was a singer, film actress, and musician who was best known for being referred to as the “Eternal Queen of Asian Pop” and for being one of the most successful and influential Asian pop singers of all time. Teng died on May 8, 1995 and her death was reportedly because of an asthma attack. She died very young at just 42 years old.
