Terry the dog (born November 17, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois) was an animal actor who was best known for being a Cairn Terrier who played Toto in the 1937 fantasy film, “Wizard of Oz.” Terry died on September 1, 1945 and her death was possibly because of old age. She died at age 11 human years.
