Thurl Arthur Ravenscroft (born February 6, 1914 in Norfolk, Nebraska) was a TV actor and singer who was best known for voicing Tony the Tiger for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and was also known for the song, “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch.” Thurl died on May 22, 2005 and his death was because of prostate cancer. He died at age 91.
