Mr. Tim Matheson (born December 31st, 1947 as "Timothy Lewis Matthieson") died unexpectedly in a hospice on January 16th, 2022 (TBV) with his lovely wife nearby. His cause of death was likely a birding accident. He was 74 years old when he passed.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Sally Matthieson and Clifford Matthieson, long term wife Elizabeth Marighetto as well as his pet bird, Buttons.
Professionally, Timothy was a TV-Actor who was best known for his role as Eric "Otter" Stratton in the comedy movie "National Lampoon's Animal House".
When he was not working as a TV-Actor, Timothy was known for his love of eating fine food and he would spend days most Sundays engulfed in snacks. Mr. Matheson (also known as Timmy) also spent seconds visiting with his kids most weekends when he was able to spare a smattering of days. Ever since he was a boy in Glendale, many remember Timothy as a crackpot with entertaining anecdotes that pleased everyone. In lieu of flowers, the whole Matheson family asks that you make a significant donation to the ASPCA in Timothy's honor.
A funeral is tentatively scheduled for month the 5th at the crematorium in Glendale. The service will commence at 4PM with a reception to follow hosted by his priest at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 10AM.
