Mr. Tony Dow (born April 13th, 1945 as "Tony Lee Dow") died quietly in his Topanga, California home while under hospice care on July 27th, 2022 with his family nearby. His cause of death was due to liver cancer. He was 77 years old when he passed.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife Lauren Shulkind, his children, son Christopher T. Dow as well as his favorite goldfish, Donald. He was predeceased by his parents, Muriel Virginia Dow and John Stevens Dow, Jr.
Before he retired, Tony was a TV Actor who was best known for his role as Wallace "Wally" Cleaver on the iconic 1950-1960s American TV sitcom "Leave It to Beaver".
When he was not working as a TV Actor, Tony was known for sculpting and he would spend ages most months perfecting his craft. Mr. Dow (also known as Wally Cleaver) also spent a lot of time managing his fan mail. Ever since he was a boy in Hollywood, many remember Tony as a jerk with distressing books that annoyed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the Heart Foundation in Tony's honor.
