Toshiro Mifune (born April 1, 1920 in Qingdao, China) was a film actor who was best known for appearing in over 150 films and for his 16 film collaboration with filmmaker, Akira Kirosawa. Toshiro died on December 24, 1997 and his death was because of multiple organ failure. He died at age 77.
