Trent Grant Whitfield (born January 17th, 1977 in Estevan, Saskatchewan) was an Hockey Player who was best known as a retired professional hockey player in the NHL. Trent Trent died on July 10th, 2025 (TBV) and his death was because of a sports related illness.

"Whitfield played his college football at the University of Texas and was drafted in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Whitfield played for the Washington Redskins for five seasons and was named a Super Bowl champion in 2014. Whitfield was also a member of the Australian Football League (AFL) and was selected to the Constellation Cup Final team in 2018. Whitfield died on July 11, 2019, in a motorcycle accident in Arlington, Texas. (V)"
