Troy Donahue (born January 27, 1936 in New York City, New York) was a film actor, TV actor, and singer who was best known for being a popular sex symbol in the 1950s and 1960s including his role as Johnny in the 1959 romance/drama film, “A Summer Place.” Troy died on September 2, 2001 and his death was because of a heart attack. He died quite soon at age 65.
