Val Kilmer

Mr. Val Kilmer (born December 31st, 1959 as "Val Edward Kilmer") died unexpectedly on a peaceful country road trip on April 1st, 2025 with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was officially pneumonia but it was likely just a symptom of his throat cancer. He was 65 years old when he passed.

Val is survived by his ex wife Joanne Whalley, son John "Jack" Kilmer and daughter Mercedes Kilmer, his brother, as well as his wooden bird, Woody. He was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Eugene Kilmer.

Professionally, Val was a TV-Actor who was best known for his early movie roles such as "Top Secret!".

When he was not working as a TV-Actor, Val was known for his love of photography and he would spend ages most Tuesdays at it. Mr. Kilmer (the deceased) also spent time visiting with his brother most Mondays when he was able to spare a bunch of ages. Ever since he was a boy in Los Angeles, many remember Val as a fine fellow with distressing chestnuts of wisdom that engrossed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a significantly notable donation to the National Firefighters Foundation in Val's honor.

A somber funeral is scheduled for next week at the crematorium in Los Angeles. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by his brother at the church where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 1PM.
