Charles Van Dell Johnson (born August 25, 1916 in Newport, Rhode Island) was a film actor who was best known for his role as Lt. Stephen Maryk in the 1954 American war film, “The Caine Mutiny.” Van died on December 12, 2008 and his death was essentially because of old age. He died at age 92.
