Ms. Venetia Stevenson (born March 10th, 1938 as "Joanna Venetia Invicta Stevenson") died quietly while traveling in a motor coach on October 12th, 2024 (TBV) with her daughters nearby. Her cause of death was assumed to be a book throwing accident. She was 86 years old when she passed.
Joanna is survived by her parents, Anna Lee and Robert Stevenson, long divorced husband Russ Tamblyn, her children, son Edan Everly, daughters Stacy Everly and Erin Everly as well as her pet chicken, Hank.
Professionally, Joanna was a Film-Actress who was best known for her performance as Peggy McTavish in the movie "Darby's Rangers".
When she was not working as a Film-Actress, Joanna was known for her love of book clubs and she would spend hours most Mondays engrossed in it. Ms. Stevenson (the deceased) also spent weeks visiting with her brother most weeks when she was able to spare a few hours. Ever since she was a girl in London, many remember Joanna as a bit of a curmudgeon with entertaining practical jokes that annoyed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a significant donation to the Humane Society in Joanna's honor.
A funeral is due to go ahead the 8th at the cemetery in London. The service will commence at 1PM with a reception to follow hosted by her mother at the burial place where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at 10AM.
