Victor Morrow (born February 14, 1929 in The Bronx, New York) was a film actor and TV actor who was best known for as one of the leads of the ABC drama series, “Combat!” Vic died on July 23, 1982 and his death was because he was accidentally decapitated by helicopter rotor blades during the filming of the "Twilight Zone: The Movie" along with two child actors. He died too soon at age 53.
