Wystan Hugh Auden (born February 21, 1907 in York, United Kingdom) was a poet who was best known for his extraordinary intellect and wit including his 1947 poem, “The Age of Anxiety: A Baroque Eclogue.” W. H. died on September 29, 1973 and his death was because of heart failure. He died quite soon at age 66.
